The first thing you should know about taking CBD oil on an airplane is- it's OK! TSA (Transportation Security Administration) does not really care about your prized bottle of Receptra as long as it is not going to explode. Their primary duty is to ensure the safety of the passengers and crew members on the airplane. Law enforcement is typically left to the police. That being said, it is important to adhere to TSA guidelines whenever traveling.

CBD Oil and TSA CBD Policy

There are two ways to get CBD oil on an airplane. Putting it in your pocket is not one of them (Don't put anything in your pocket... It makes TSA officials angry). You can carry CBD onto the plane in your bag or you can have it checked in your luggage. A big deciding factor should be whether or not you want to actually use it while in the air. Depending on how early you check-in, it may not be practical to take a serving before placing it in your checked bag, if you are hoping for maximum effectiveness while in the air.

CBD in Carry On Bags

TSA has strict guidelines on the size of liquids that can pass through checkpoints. Containers must not hold more than 3.4 ounces (100 millimeters) of liquid. The largest bottle of Receptra CBD oil is only two ounces, so you are in the clear with any of the Receptra CBD oil products. Technically you could take multiple bottles if you wanted to, as long as they fit into a quart-sized resealable bag.

CBD in Checked Bags

Any liquid over 3.4 ounces has to be placed in a checked bag. Sometimes airport baggage staff are not super gentle. Is it Legal to Travel with CBD in the United States?

Products made from hemp that contain less than 0.3% THC are legal in the United States under the 2018 Farm Bill. CBD products created from hemp are not the same as those derived from marijuana. There are no psychoactive effects to be had from the CBD. Pure hemp CBD oil like Receptra contains no more than 0.3% THC.

It is really hard to get fully comfortable and relaxed on a plane. Some people have extreme anxiety about flying which can make it really difficult to travel. Flying with CBD could help in a number of ways.

If you are really afraid that your bottle of CBD is somehow going to be identified as marijuana and you are going to end up in prison:

1. You should probably take a serving of CBD and try to relax

Traveling Internationally with CBD Oil
