There are a couple of food items that are just non-negotiable in your Thanksgiving meal and cranberry sauce is one of those dishes that has to be on the table. This CBD Cranberry sauce recipe is even better! Here is a quick and easy recipe sure to satisfy all of the taste buds sitting around your table, and may even help inspire an extra pinch of holiday joy.
Receptra CBD Cranberry Sauce Recipe
- 12 Ounces of Whole Cranberries
- ½ Cup White Sugar
- 1 Cup of Orange Juice
- 3 - 4 Droppers of Receptra Naturals Seriously Relax CBD Oil
- ½ Cup Chopped Pineapple
- ⅓ Cup Chopped Pecans
Cranberries
Not only are they a tasty addition to turkey, but cranberries are also high in antioxidants as wells as vitamins C, A and K. This small fruit has also been linked to treatments for urinary tract infections, cardiovascular disease, skin care, weight loss, and even oral health. Native Americans and colonists used cranberries for both taste, and for health benefits.
Sugar
Though not found on any health food lists, cranberries do not taste so great without being sweetened. This recipe calls for white sugar, which also helps with its consistency. You may opt to try coconut, brown sugar or even honey to replace the traditional white sugar. You will surely find plenty of it in your Thanksgiving desserts. Even the colonists found that they could use cranberries in greater abundance once they were sweetened.
Orange Juice
Known for its high vitamin C content, orange juice is a welcome addition to most dishes. This is especially true when there is a house full of people and the chance of compromised immune systems. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, orange juice is also rich in vitamin A, thiamin, folate, fiber, potassium, copper, magnesium, flavonoids, and many other trace vitamins and minerals.
Receptra Naturals CBD Oil
The benefits of Receptra Pure Hemp CBD oil at Thanksgiving are too numerous to count. From relaxation and mood-boosting to digestive health and inflammation-reducing antioxidants, CBD has the potential to make your family meal much more enjoyable. Feel free to change the amount of CBD oil used according to taste and desired effect. You can always add a little more, or take another serving straight from the bottle.
Pineapple
There is a good reason that pineapple should be added to your Thanksgiving CBD cranberry sauce recipe. Pineapple contains a group of digestive enzymes called bromelain. These enzymes assist in breaking down your food. If there was ever a time when your digestive system could use a boost, its probably on Thanksgiving! Pineapple also has an abundance of vitamin C as well as an amazing naturally sweet flavor.
Pecans
No, you cannot pretend that pecan pie is good for you just because pecans have some great health benefits (nice try though.) Like many tree nuts, pecans are full of healthy fats that have been linked to a decrease in bad cholesterol. Pecans are high in fiber and magnesium as well as vitamins E and A. They also add a nice soft nutty texture to this awesome Thanksgiving CBD cranberry sauce recipe.
