Receptra’s entire staff gathers each summer to plant the bulk of the company hemp crop. Our executive members, production crew, chemists, marketing team, sales representatives and all of our amazing team members are in attendance. This year was a special treat after months of zoom calls and minimal contact due to social distancing requirements.

There was plenty of hand sanitizer made available as well as sunscreen, though the team was anxiously anticipating a summer storm rolling in this year, just in time to turn everyone into hempy mudballs! Organic Hemp Growing Practices

Each of our hemp plants is cultivated on-site at the farm and carefully planted by experienced farmers and Receptra staff, understanding the intricacies of the plant. Ladybugs play an important part in keeping pests away from the hemp plants and also provide a fun splash of color in the fields. The hemp plants are both rain and drip irrigated and there are no chemicals used at any point during the planting, growth, or harvesting processes. And, some of the plants planted by the Receptra team, may or may not have names . . .

Once the plants are in the ground, our farming team carefully monitors the progress of the crop to make sure that we are able to meet our own high standards. All of Receptra’s products are third-party tested. We focus heavily on transparency and providing you with products you can trust.
