- 2 Cups of Plain Greek Yogurt
- Receptra Pet CBD (amount used depends on the size of your pet)
- You will also need an ice cube tray
Pumpkin for Pets
Plain canned pumpkin puree is commonly recommended by veterinarians for digestive issues in dogs. Pumpkin is high in fiber, containing three grams of fiber per cup. Soluble fiber helps slow your dog's digestive tract and can absorb water which assists in managing diarrhea. Pumpkin also contains potassium, vitamin C, Beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, zinc, iron, and vitamin A. Be sure to choose plain pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling. The cans can look deceivingly similar!
Plain Greek Yogurt for Pets
Plain Greek yogurt contains live and active bacterial cultures, which may contribute to keeping your pet's gut healthy. This could be especially beneficial for dogs who like to explore the trash or eat everything they find on the ground. Avoid flavored and full-fat yogurt. Xylitol and chocolate are two ingredients in flavored yogurts that can be toxic to dogs.
CBD Oil for Pets
Like humans, pets have a naturally occurring endocannabinoid system that helps them to maintain homeostasis (balance) in the body. CBD oil for pets can naturally assist in keeping pets calm and relaxed during the Halloween hysteria without the use of prescription medication or sedatives. As the weather cools, the antioxidant properties of CBD may also help reduce inflammation your pet's of achy joints.
